The responsible person will lead and manage the team that processes and reconciles the financial data.With Hollywoodbets You Will:Innovate and create as part of a like-minded, authentic Team eager to achieve goals.Embrace challenges and the thrill of working in a vibrant and fast-paced industry.Grow with our development plans and culture that allows you to further your career.You Bring:2+ years' experience in practical auditing/ accountingValid driver's licenseComputer literateA bonus to have:Completed Finance/ Audit related degreeCompleted SAICA ArticlesPastel Evolution knowledgeWhat You'll Do For The Brand:Financial Metrics/Operational DutiesAnalyse business results and prepare appropriate financial reports to describe those resultsEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting is providedEnsure internal controls are properly designed, implemented and documentedOversee daily financial operations, including accounting, maintain the general ledger/ trial balance and ensure the accuracy of financial dataUnderstand and evaluate business processes and identify improvement opportunitiesAssist in planning and managing implementation of improvement programsRespond to internal requests for financial information to support business decisionsCollect and analyse data to detect system weaknesses and identify key and residual risksIdentify and rectify weaknesses within procedures, processes, policies and related internal control frameworksContinuously look to improve efficiency and effectiveness through ongoing learning/development and new techniquesPerform consulting activities and ad hoc assignments as they ariseAbility to manage changing priorities and competing demandsEnsure deadline is met for relevant tasksTimeous and accurate reporting of findings with material value or material riskHelping to develop a culture of continuous improvement through process re-engineering and change managementCompliance, risk and qualityCreating, maintaining and enforcing company policies and procedures100% compliance with health and safety regulations (where applicable)Compliance with relevant laws and regulations relating to iBranch operationsIntense focus on quality with regards to communication, capturing, documentation etcMaintenance of department process write-ups/ system descriptions and quarterly updatingEnsure logical saving of all work, templates, etc. monthly and yearly such that each year's financial records can stand on its own when enquiries/ investigations/audits take placeProduce high quality, neat, logical, succinct, easy to follow, easy to understand, formula linked work/templates/workbooks/financial models/recons -
