Accountant'S Assistant

Job description/responsibilities:Responsible for daily financial accounting tasks.Conduct thorough review of daily expense reimbursement receipts, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reimbursement procedures.Handle the preparation of daily vouchers.Perform monthly reconciliation of managed accounts to ensure clear and reasonable balance of accounts.Collect, bind, compile, and archive accounting vouchers, books, reports, and other documents in a timely manner.Collaborate to complete other ad-hoc tasks.
Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric).
Degree in finance, accounting, or related field.Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years' experience in an accountant position or similar role.Skills: Preference given to candidates with experience in manufacturing or sales-oriented enterprises.Familiarity with South African accounting standards, tax laws, and related regulations.Proficient in using excel and basic financial software.Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a high level of professional ethics.Preferably holds an accounting professional certificate and has experience working in an accounting firm.
