ACCOUNTANT - R30k pm - HYBRID - CBD (2 days per week remote and Flexible working hours) BENEFITS: International Finance ExposureCrypto & Blockchain spaceKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparing bank reconciliationsPreparing/reviewing invoices and payments to suppliersAccurate processing of journal entriesPerforming reconciliations and preparing accounting files for review.Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations (incl. completion and submission of the relevant tax returns)Preparation of annual financial statementsPreparation of monthly management reportsDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with clientsRequirementsSAIPA Qualified3-5 years of experience in a relevant accounting role (incl. articles experience)Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and accounting software (e.g. Xero, Dext, Approval Max, Fathom)Recommended: a keen interest to learn and work on projects within the Crypto, Web 3 and Blockchain space.
