Accountant - Maternity Relief Contract

This person will be reporting to the Financial Manager for this contract period. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs: Budget preparation & assistance with various budgetsPreparing monthly Operations ReportsManagement fees, dividends and tax calculationsCompiling month end Dreyersdal packsSundry Factory / Distribution cost monthly analysis & processingUpdating Waste, R/kg, tonnage, gainshare schedules monthlyReconciliation of Balance Sheet accountsManaging Profit Estimate FileUpdate & Completing - Distribution & Income statementsCapex capitalising/scrapping assets, monthly depreciationCalculations, reconciling, posting HPs, update monthly HP scheduleJournal preparation and processingGeneral housekeeping and filingAny other ad hoc related duties when required To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following minimum criteria: BCom Accounting DegreeMinimum 2 years relevant work experienceBe highly computer literate (Excel)SAP experience or knowledge would be highly advantageousAbility to use own initiative and work with minimum supervisionAble to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed)Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlinesConfident, independent person who is a fast learner and a team playerAssertive, logical thinker and strong relationship building skillsBe enthusiastic, positive and self-energizedAn ability to adapt to change quickly and effectively
