Accountant (Manufacturing)

Purpose:The main purpose of this role is to work in close collaboration with various departments across the business to instil a controlled environment with a high level of financial awareness.Requirements:Relevant completed degreeMin 2 years post qualification working experience in general accountingExperience within a manufacturing environment recommendedComputer literacyDuties include:Regular reporting and follow-up of financial health checks across the businessProvide hands-on assistance to internal departments to resolve any queriesDirect involvement in stock take variance reporting and investigations / non-compliance monitoringHighlighting of stock damages / anomalies to relevant partiesAssist with month end and year end closingsAssist with the annual audit as well as the BEE audit processFixed Asset commissioning, CAPEX reporting against budgetRoutine monthly reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting requestsPrimary contact for collation of insurance related support and submitting of claims
