Accountant (Manufacturing)

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced ACCOUNTANT for a well-established manufacturing company based in the Phoenix area, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTSGrade 12.Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent.SAIPA or SAICA training experience.Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel skills and accounting packages experience (e.g. Syspro).2-5 years of experience in financial accounting or a related role.Experience with financial reporting, cost accounting and analysis.Familiarity with auditing processes and tax regulations.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Duties include managing financial records, preparing and analysing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves calculate and monitor cost of manufacturing (using BOM), calculating selling price, preparing tax returns, reviewing work performed by others, and supporting the organisations budgeting and financial planning activities.
