Southern Fruit Growers, based in Somerset-West, currently has the above position for an analytical and detail-oriented team player with excellent accounting knowledge and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):Handling of petty cashChecking freight invoices with schedules of shipping companiesCreditors reconciliationsSend GoReefers invoices on PastelValuta bank reconciliations on a monthly basisDebtors (invoices for forwarders together with documents, and invoices for clients)Packing listsOn consignment: following up on outstanding prices and do final invoices from account salesKeeping up payment filesPost payments on payment fileMiscellaneous invoices as requestedIssuing credit notesFiling of documents at end of seasonAll ad hoc financial functions related to the position.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:BCom Accounting degree or similar qualification with SAIPA articles in progress or completed SAIPA articles;Excellent computer skills (specifically Microsoft Excel and Pastel).Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);Own reliable transport.Commencement date: As soon as possible.
