Position Overview
An Accountant highly experienced with management accounts, VAT, Payroll, and PAYE is required on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring they comply with legal requirements and accounting standards.
Manage Payroll, PAYE, and VAT.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciling bank statements.
Help in budget preparation and expense management activities.
Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
Assist with tax preparation, filing, and audit processes.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
