Accountant

A leading manufacturing company is looking for an Accountant to join their vibrant finance team. As an Accountant , you will be responsible for the following: Creditors, including preparing reconciliations (assisting with the full function) Debtors, including processing invoices and then performing the recovery monthly invoices (assisting with the full function) Month end processes Full control of fixed assets Year-end audit and preparation of the audit file Costing and control Preparing monthly management accounts Calculation of depreciation Managing provisions and accruals Processing journals (including payroll related journals) Preparing payments lists and requisitions Income tax and VAT submissions (communication with SARS to resolve any tax complications) Ad hoc duties Qualifications: Completed Finance Degree Completed SAIPA articles Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years experience If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
