Accountant

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As an Accountant , you will be responsible for the following: Manage creditors, including preparing reconciliations and assisting with the full function. Handle debtors, including processing invoices and managing the monthly recovery of outstanding amounts (assisting with the full function). Oversee month-end processes. Take full control of fixed assets management. Prepare for the year-end audit and compile the audit file. Handle costing and cost control. Prepare monthly management accounts. Calculate depreciation. Manage provisions and accruals. Process journals, including payroll-related entries. Prepare payment lists and requisitions. Submit income tax and VAT returns, including liaising with SARS to resolve any tax issues. Perform ad hoc duties as required. Qualifications: Completed Finance Degree Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years experience If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
