Safacap is an Accounting & Tax Practitioner firm looking for an Accountant / Bookkeeper. Our office is in Dorp street, Stellenbosch.
The ideal candidate will have a background in bookkeeping, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
Roles and responsibilities

Performing bookkeeping duties such as recording, posting and processing day-to-day financial transactions and related reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory returns.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Processing to Trial balance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Desired Experience and Qualification

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Bookkeeping/Accounting position.
A diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance is beneficial.
Computer skills in Excel and MDA will be highly recommended.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary expectations
R18 000 - R20 000 per month depending on experience.
