Accountant

Role: Accountant Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape Salary: To be discussed Responsibilities: Compile financial statements for companies and Close Corporations using Draftworx.
Manage tax returns and handle SARS administration.
Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks using Pastel.
Calculate VAT and prepare VAT returns.
Handle a large portfolio of clients Requirements: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
Proficiency in Draftworx and Pastel.
Strong understanding of VAT calculations and returns.
Experience with tax returns and SARS admin.
Ability to manage multiple clients efficiently and effectively.
CA qualification is not necessary but will be considered an advantage.
Skills and Qualities: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills
