Job Title: Accountant

Position Summary: Our client is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Conduct audits and ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.Monitor cash flow and create financial forecasts.Ensure timely payment of invoices and monitor outstanding balances.Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial planning.Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting softwareExcellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.Working hours: Full time permanent position
Area: Paarl, office based position.
Salary: R15 000-R18 000
