If you're eager to make a meaningful impact and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!Job Duties:Cost Management and Financial Analysis: Provide tools to measure costs and analyze financial information to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Deliver regular and detailed feedback to managers on financial results, including KPI reports generated through Jet reports.Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit the Monthly Pack by the 15th of the following month, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Cost to Serve reports. Generate other management reports as required, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Month-End Processes: Process month-end journals accurately and in a timely manner. Analyze monthly results to identify anomalies, address errors, and prevent recurrence. Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliations and VAT reconciliations. Financial Forecasting, Budgeting, and Statutory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and review of yearly budgets, rolling budgets, and 5-year financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT Act and deadlines for submission of returns and financial reports to Stats SA.Internal Controls and Audit Support: Assist in ensuring effective internal controls, including involvement in stock takes and ad hoc internal audit tasks. Maintain audit files and assist auditors during external audits, implementing corrective measures as needed.Ad Hoc Projects and Cash Flow Management: Support finance-related tasks as required for ad hoc projects. Compile month-end cash flow summaries for the Financial Director.Audit Preparation and Reporting: Ensure the timely preparation of an unqualified external audit report by 31 August and provide audit files to auditors by 1 May. Maintain audit files on a monthly basis for the next year's audit, including balance sheet reconciliations, VAT reconciliations, loan reconciliations, and other necessary reconciliations.Required Qualifications and Experience Grade 12CIMA QualificationBCom Accounting3 Years' experience within the FMCG industry5 Years' experience in management accountingFinancial Reporting ExperienceCosting Experience Knowledge and Skills:Strong understanding of accounting principlesProficient in financial software and MS ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsWorking Conditions:Office-based role
