This is the place for you.About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in KSA tax regulations and compliance to join our finance team in KSA. The ideal candidate will manage the procure-to-pay process, ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, perform regular reconciliations, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws and regulations (ZATCA). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to process improvement.What Will You DoInvoice Processing: Review, validate, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies, KSA tax regulations, and procedures.Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with KSA tax requirements, including Value-Added Tax (VAT), WHT, and other applicable taxes related to procurement and payments.Vendor Management: Create purchase orders timely, follow approval processes, maintain positive vendor relationships, and address any queries or discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and tax compliance.Data Analysis: Analyze purchase orders and payment data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements while ensuring compliance with KSA regulations.Reconciliation: Perform regular weekly and monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies, including tax-related issues, in a timely manner.Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to payment activities and tax compliance, providing insights to management for decision-making.Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on changes in KSA tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's compliance and mitigate risks.Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to existing PTP processes and tax compliance procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, tax, and legal departments, to support the PTP process and resolve issues.Ad-hoc Projects: Support business initiatives and decision-making.Financial Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with internal and external requirements.External Audits: Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data and provide support with external audits.What You Will NeedEducation:Bachelor's degree in finance & accounting, business administration, or a related field.ACCA, CPA, or any other accounting certification is preferable.Experience:3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable, financial analysis, or a related field, with a focus on KSA tax compliance.Skills:Strong understanding of the procure-to-pay process and relevant accounting principles, especially in the context of KSA regulations.Knowledge of KSA tax laws, including VAT and WHT / Zakat / Tax, and practical experience in tax compliance.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.What we offer:Rapid learning opportunities - we enable learning through flexible career paths, exposure to challenging & meaningful work that will help build and strengthen your expertise.Hybrid work environment - flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.Healthcare and other local benefits offered in market.
