Accountant

Our Client, a well-established Accounting Firm located in Pretoria East is looking for a detail-orientated Accountant to join their team.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans, and be willing to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports and statements Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings Ensurs compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts Liase with external auditors and tax advisors as needed Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional Certification Proven experience in accounting, tax, income tax and payroll Proficiency in accounting software, Xero and Caseware compilation of financial statements Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards Excellent track record of customer service
