Reporting to the Chief Financial OfficerBrief Description of Job Purpose:To manage the full bookkeeping function from source documentation to trial balance, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.Qualifications, Experience, Competencies:Qualifications:Grade 12 + Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (e.g., B Com Accounting / Financial Management / Management Accounting)Experience:Five years of relevant financial accounting experience with experience in bookkeeping up to Trial BalanceKnowledge and Competencies:Working knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., IFRS, FICA, GAAP)Understanding and experience of budgeting and financial accounting processesProficiency in various accounting systems, preferably Pastel EvolutionAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationSelf-motivated with strong drive and energyAnalytical and methodical thinkerStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAttention to detailStrong organizational skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressureCross-cultural awarenessCollaborative with other departmentsAbility to influence and make an impact
