Purpose of the PositionTo perform accounting and tax related duties, manage an accounting portfolio and provide insight, and review of the portfolio's month to month. ResponsibilitiesFull accounting function up until trial balance (Individual companies and groups)Produce client management reports and annual budgetsAccounting budget planning and managementCalculation and submission of tax returns (PAYE, VAT, Provisional tax, Income tax)Maintain excellent client relationshipsMaintaining of company secretarial recordsEnsuring that deadlines are metMonthly and bi-weekly payroll processing (Permanent staff and wages)Workmans Compensation submissionsSARS and Labour Department statutory queriesRequirements:Qualified SAIPA / AGA (SA)1 – 2 years post-article experience (Beneficial)A thorough knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, and taxationStrong administrative skillsTaking initiative/being pro-activeTeam playerAdherence to principles and valuesExcellent communication skillsAble to demonstrate and exercise sound judgment skillsPlanning and organizational skillsCompanies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) administration (Beneficial)Basic computer software knowledge (Xero, Pastel, Excel, Outlook)Own reliable transportation with valid driving licenseNOTE - We ONLY accept online applications.
