Minimum requirements: Accounting Degree in Accounting or Finance 2 years of experience in accounting; experience with project accounting or cost accounting is a strong plus. Familiarity with project accounting practices and cost accounting principles would be highly beneficial Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and solving accounting issues. Experience in cost accounting and financial analysis, particularly in project-based or service-oriented industries Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges within the accounting function Duties will include, but are not limited to: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and assist with month-end close processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable financial regulations. Conduct thorough reconciliations of project accounts, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and revenues. Collaborate with project managers to understand budgetary needs and track project costs. Identify discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve them promptly. Support in generating detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in cost accounting tasks, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and margin assessment. Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies Prepare documentation and assist with internal and external audits. Ensure records are well-organized, complete, and audit-ready at all times. Maintain compliance with accounting standards and help enhance financial controls and processes. Work closely with Finance, Project Management, and Procurement teams to understand and manage cost structures.
