Accountant

Our client in the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team!Responsibilities:Manage all accounting transactionsPrepare budget forecastsPublish financial statements in timeHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closingsReconcile accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely bank paymentsCompute taxes and prepare tax returnsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statementsReport on the company's financial health and liquidityAudit financial transactions and documentsReinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessaryComply with financial policies and regulations Qualifications & Requirements:Work experience as an Accountant in the FMCG industry would be advantageousExcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and proceduresHands-on experience with accounting software Advanced MS Excel skills and computer literacyExperience with general ledger functionsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsRelevant Accounting or Finance qualificationMatric
