Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their company in the Healthcare Industry.REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAININGSAGE Evolution accounting or Pastel Partner (recent)A minimum of 3 years' experience in a fast past environment compulsoryAbility to learn industry specifics e.g.: related healthcare terminologyComputer competency - intermediate (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) The successful candidates will be responsible for, including, but not limited to the following:All processing to trial balanceDrafting, analyzing and commenting on management accounts for reviewInterest calculationsProcessing of debtors and creditorsSubmission of VAT201s (including calculation and reconciliation)Submission of EMP201sAccurate financial reporting & analysisAll bank related activitiesMonthly Creditors Reconciliations review and approvalFollow-up of queries/ requests of Facility ManagersProcessing of month-end journals and statisticsPrepare and balance inter-company loan account and invoice rechargesRecording and reconciling of all inter-company transactionsPreparing of month-end reconciliations for all Balance Sheet General Ledger accountsPreparation of Audit files and liaison with external auditorsAssist in ad-hoc Finance projectsEffective Cashflow forecastingEffective governance and risk managementAny other function required by direct line managerKEY COMPETENCIESAnalytical Skills with Attention to detailProblem-solving, analysis and judgementResilienceEngaging diversityEffective Time management skillsProfessional & technical proficiencyVerbal & written communication (including presentation)Leading by exampleMotivating peopleDrive and energyExcellence orientation (concern for high quality work)Ethical behavior (honesty)Building relationships & customer responsivenessDeadline drivenShould you not receive any response within 2 weeks please consider your application unsuccessful
