As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.ResponsibilitiesPreparing monthly Operations ReportsBudget preparation and assistance with various budgetsManagement fees, dividends and tax calculationsCompiling month end packsSundry Factory / Distribution cost monthly analysis & processingUpdating Waste, R/kg, tonnage, gainshare schedules monthlyReconciliation of Balance Sheet accountsManaging Profit Estimate FileUpdate & Completing - Distribution & African Closure Income statementsCapex - capitalizing/scrapping assets, monthly depreciationCalculations, reconciling, posting HPs, update monthly HP scheduleJournal preparation and processingGeneral housekeeping and filingAny other ad hoc related duties when requiredRequirementsBCom Accounting Degree2-3 years' relevant work experienceBe highly computer literate (Excel)SAP experience or knowledge would be advantageousAbility to use own initiative and work with minimum supervisionAble to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed)Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlinesConfident, independent person who is a fast learner and a team playerAssertive, logical thinker and strong relationship building skillsBe enthusiastic, positive and self-energisedAn ability to adapt to change quickly and effectivelyBenefitsMarket-related salary
