Accountant

Malander is looking for an experienced Accountant for a client in Durban. This is a 3-month contract position, requiring someone who can start immediately. The ideal candidate should be located in Durban and will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing daily accounting operations, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports. It is mandatory for the candidate to have Infor LN experience. Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee daily accounting operations;Process invoices;Perform balance sheet reconciliations;Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations;Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards;Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions;Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making;Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes;Conduct audits and ensure proper internal controls are in place;Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field;Minimum of 2 years post articles experience;Proficiency in Infor LN is essential;Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous;Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
