Accountant

Are you completing your SAICA/SAIPA articles this year and ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented accountant to join their team in January 2025. This role is based in Parktown North, Johannesburg North. Key Responsibilities: Manage and process cashbooks and bank reconciliations (multiple companies, foreign currencies). Maintain the fixed assets register and calculate depreciation. Process credit card transactions and employee reimbursement expenses. Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals, provisions, and prepayments. Maintain accurate financial records and perform analytical reviews. Assist with year-end audits and financial report preparation. Provide insights to management and support decision-making. Requirements: Completed BCom Degree in Accountant/Finance. SAICA/SAIPA articles completed or near completion by December 2024. Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes. Proficiency in financial systems and tools. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
