Our client is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the operations team in achieving financial objectives.
Responsibilities: Financial Reporting:
Ensure all stipulated financial deadlines are met.
Prepare and complete bank reconciliations.
Prepare amortization schedules and journals.
Conduct general ledger allocations and reconciliations.
Collaborate with the Finance Manager to review the Profit & Loss statements, ensuring accurate expense capture and provisions where necessary.
Review Fixed Asset reconciliations to ensure all assets are capitalized.
Operational Support:
Prepare monthly intercompany invoices.
Assist in preparing VAT reconciliations and VAT to Turnover reconciliations.
Ensure accurate capturing of creditor and ad-hoc payments.
Assist with verifying creditors' banking details amendments.
Prepare payroll deduction schedules for restaurant staff.
Reconcile staff restaurant account spend and monthly top-ups.
Assist with weekly operational presentations.
