Accountant

The successful incumbent will work together with the Finance Executive to develop and manage a functional finance team.Some duties include:Monthly profit and loss reviewManagement accounts submission to groupAssist with annual year-end pack and budgetsAssist with quarterly board reportsPrepare monthly reportsMaintenance of fixed asset registerDepreciation posting journalsCalculate, reconcile and submit monthly VATAssist with preparing monthly journalsAssist with annual internal and external auditsOversight of creditors and cashbook administrationMonthly stock countsEducation:Completed BCom Degree in Finance or AccountingJob Experience & Skills Required:4 to 5 years' experience in an accounting position essentialProduct / stock environment experience essentialStrong MS Excel skillsWorking knowledge of VAT and TaxGood communication and relationship building skillsAPPLY NOW!
