Job Title: Financial AccountantLocation: Robertville – JohannesburgExperience: 3-6yrsType: Full TimeReporting to: Chief Executive OfficerDESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated key member of the Senior Management team to join our company. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will provide operational oversight and management of the finance and procurement team. You will be expected to plan, implement, manage and control all operational oversight of the Group, including but not limited to:Internal controls:Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard the organisation's assets, such as asset registers managed and reconciled.Evaluate existing internal processes and recommend improvements for operational efficiency, focusing on procurement, financial and operational controls.Cash flow management and Planning: Plan and manage the cash flows of the organisation to ensure efficient and effective operations. Manage reputational risk by ensuring timely payment of creditors and expenses, and manage credit risk by ensuring debtors are collected within terms and all legal requirements are met.Cost and efficiency management: Continuously review and analyse manufacturing costing and production efficiency to improve profitability. Collaborate with the production department to enhance manufacturing processes and assess causes and impacts of downtime.Financial function: Oversee the finance function, including budgets, management accounts, and financial statements.
