Accountant

Key Responsibilities:Manage and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.Support financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.Collaborate with various departments to provide financial support and guidance.Assist in the implementation of financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency.Requirements:BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification.Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the mining and energy sectors.Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and industry-specific regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.Apply Now!
