Accountant

An opportunity with a manufacturing company for an experienced Accountant to join the team.Reporting directly to the MD, who is one of the best bosses you could ever want, the role requires an all-rounder, hands-on individual who will get involved in all aspects of the business, including participating in stock-takes and handling basic HR responsibilities.On the finance side, you will take full responsibility for:Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable / Debtors and CreditorsPetty Cash, Cashbook, and Financial StatementsManagement AccountsBudgets and forecastsAsset managementCashflowReportingBankingTime and AttendanceSalaries and WagesYou Will NeedDiploma/certificate or higher qualification in Bookkeeping/AccountingMinimum 10-15 years' experiencePrevious manufacturing sector experience with solid cost accounting skillsSage and Pastel Payroll experiencePreference will be given to candidates who are immediately available.The role is open to South African citizens.Communication will be with shortlisted candidates only - if you have received no feedback from us within 2 weeks of applying, please accept your application as unsuccessful.Desired SkillsAccountingManufacturingDesired Work ExperienceMore than 10 years
