Brief Description of Key Performance AreaKey Performance Area All Accounting and bookkeeping duties relating to the function,Prepare all monthly journals and standard journals i.e. finance leases, depreciation, general ledger allocations, prepayments, provisions and accruals.Complete Balance Sheet / Income Statement GL Reconciliations in local currencies for all Cross-border branches with emphasis on inter-company loan accounts and meet strict deadline.Review GL Transactions daily and liaise with finance colleagues to correct any misallocations.Reporting in Multiple Currencies as well as consolidation in Group Currency with emphasis on inter-company loan accountsMaintain the Asset Register for all Cross-border branches monthly.Accurate preparation, submission and payment of the Cross-border branches VAT / WH VAT / WHT returns within statutory timelines. Reconcile the VAT GL to the revenue authorities statement, ensuring that all statutory compliance is met and documentation relating to Cross border imports and exports is complete and correct.Audit assistancePerform any other tasks that may from time to time be assigned.Adhere to the health, hygiene and safety regulations and maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
