Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and daily Duties will include but not be limited to:Keeping accurate financial records and reconciliations of key accountsMaintaining accurate fixed asset and tax asset registersPreparing and balancing of the bank reconciliations, suppliers and customersPropose and implement financial best practicesMaintain a documented system of accounting policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with all statutory requirements and lawsSupport and prepare for the annual financial auditCreate additional analyses and reports as requested by managementSubmission of EMP501 reconciliationsDesired Experience & QualificationSAIPA (preferred), or Bachelor degree/Advanced Diploma in Accounting3 Years' experience as an accountant (articles also counts as experience) as a minimumStrong Excel skills and knowledge of Pastel and/or SAGE AccountingGood leadership and communication skills demonstrated on applicationOwn transportation
