Accountant

Purpose of the job:As the Accountant for their division, the primary purpose of the role is to partner with the business to ensure effective financial control and to generate accurate, timely financial reports for customers and external stakeholders in line with internal and external reporting requirements and deadlines.
Experiential and Educational requirements:3-5 Years related Experience, relevant financial qualification (BCom Finance or accounting, with articles an advantage)MS Office: Intermediate
Essential duties and responsibilities:Effective financial control and monitoring of the division in all aspectsCreate and maintain a strong control environmentSupport to business on the budget processForex analysisLiaise with Internal customers to ensure high service delivery and support at all timesCreditor managementStock controlGeneral ledger control – including manual calculations and processesPrepare weekly / monthly reporting to managementAssist with the quarterly & annual auditsTax management and preparation of monthly VAT return
