A position has become available for an Accountant to join our dynamic team.
To provide Financial Controls and ensure Statutory Compliance for the Build-It Imports Warehouse.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Ensure compliance with regulations / policies / procedures / VAT / Tax (complete VAT Recon; prepare Tax Packs and deal with all SARS queries).Complete Month-end Trail Balance.Ensure that the budget is set according to the Central office budget guidelines.Submission of Daily / Weekly / Monthly and quarterly review and feedback reports to the Finance Manager.General ledger recons are completed within weeks of closing the general ledger.Prepare for ICM Audits.Ensure excellent management of staff.Achieves the agreed productivity targets/standards.Adheres to legislative requirements.Degree in Financial Accounting essential.SAP experience an added advantage.2 years' post qualification experience in a financial position, with articles.Advance MS Package.Experience in a supervisory role.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Independent and able to work under pressure.Application Instructions: Kindly note: All applications are to be submitted through the Careers Site and Pnet.
