Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:Budget preparation & assistance with various budgetsPreparing monthly Operations ReportsManagement fees, dividends and tax calculationsCompiling month endSundry Factory / Distribution cost monthly analysis & processingReconciliation of Balance Sheet accountsManaging Profit Estimate FileCapex – capitalising/scrapping assets, monthly depreciationCalculations, reconciling, posting HPs, update monthly HP scheduleJournal preparation and processingGeneral housekeeping and filingAny other ad hoc related duties when requiredMinimum RequirementsBCom Accounting Degree2-3 years' relevant work experienceBe highly computer literate (Excel) - must be able to do Vlook Ups/ Pivot tables etc.SAP experience or knowledge would be advantageousAbility to use own initiative and work with minimum supervisionAble to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed)Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlinesConfident, independent person who is a fast learner and a team playerAssertive, logical thinker and strong relationship building skillsBe enthusiastic, positive and self-energisedAn ability to adapt to change quickly and effectivelyDesired SkillsAccountingExcelMS Excel Pivot Tables
