Job Title: Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Cape Town (meetings once or twice a week)
Salary: R 35 000 – R 45 000 (based on experience)

Job Description:
Our client, a prestigious private equity firm, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their lean finance team.
You will be responsible for preparing audit documentation, processing journals, managing accounts, and ensuring tax and governance compliance.
The role also includes invoicing, banking, and financial reporting, with potential to take on management accounts in the future.
This is a flexible, remote role, requiring occasional meetings in Cape Town.

Qualifications:
• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
• Own vehicle and reside near Constantia Village, Cape Town.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in financial reporting, journal processing, account allocations, and trial balances.
• Ability to manage financial records, invoicing, banking, and compliance tasks efficiently.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote work setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of tax, governance, and FICA regulations is a plus.
