Accountant PositionHire Resolves client in the Audit and Advisory space is looking for an Accountant to join their team based in Cape Town.Responsibilities:Supervising a monthly accounting department including preparation and review of monthly management accounts, timely submission of statutory returns, and assisting clients with accounting and software support.Preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements using IFRS for SMEs.Dealing with clients and correspondence.Managing and training junior staff and SAIPA trainees.Requirements:Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles or similar experienceCompany and individual tax knowledge essentialPrevious experience in a similar environmentAble to work under pressure and meet deadlinesVery high attention to detailExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenOwn transport (including valid SA driver's licence)Software Requirements:Pastel Partner and Sage One experienceExperience with Xero advantageousCaseware knowledgeHighly computer literate in Outlook, Word, and ExcelIf you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at ****** note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
