Job Description:As the Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:Oversee and maintain the fixed asset registers, ensuring accuracy and compliancePrepare and review financial reports that meet industry standards and provide actionable insightsSupport month-end and year-end financial processes to ensure smooth reporting cyclesPerform reconciliations, guaranteeing adherence to accounting policies and regulationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure precise financial reporting and analysisProcess financial transactions efficiently using SAP, ensuring accuracy at all timesPrepare and analyze financial statements and reports, offering valuable insights to various departmentsManage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processingConduct regular bank account reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted forPrepare Balance Sheet reconciliations with precisionPrepare and submit VAT returns on time, ensuring compliance with tax regulationsIdentify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within financial operationsAnalyze costs and financial performance to support strategic decision-makingEnsure strict adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirementsTake on additional ad-hoc tasks as required by management, contributing to the teams success Skills & Experience: Proficiency in SAP and other accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesMinimum of 2 years commercial experience performing the full finance functionQualification:Relevant Financial or Accounting diploma or degreeCompleted SAICA/SAIPA articles would be advantageousGrade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
