Accountant

Job Description:
The incumbent should be able to perform the full accounting function up to trial balance and have experience working in a team and a very deadline-driven environment.
Job Specifications:

Journals, importing/exporting, and processing up to trial balance
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Electronic Funds Transfers
Income and payments on bank statements to balance to cashbook
Correct account, cost centre, and company allocations
Invoices to be checked
Respond to queries

Qualifications & Experience:

Relevant financial qualification (Degree/B Tech)
A minimum of 2 years' working experience preferably within the financial services industry

Skills/Competencies:

Analytical ability (reasoning & questioning)
Good verbal and written communication skills – must be able to speak Afrikaans
Results-oriented
Strong time management skills
Resilient
Systems skills and knowledge (Excel essential, Tial advantageous)
