Accountant

Job Description:
Responsibilities:

Maintain receipts and records for all the business transactions.
Accounting income and expenses as per SARS.
Preparing monthly financial reports and evaluating them to optimise resources.
Preparing sale invoices as per SARS guidelines.
Bank reconciliation and bank-related work.
Identifying areas of cost reduction is key.
Assist in financial audits.
Preparing and updating Asset Trackers.
Monthly closing of books of accounts.
Completion and submissions of VAT and EMP returns ( Must have )
Calculation of provisional taxes.
Reconciliation of vender and client ledgers.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

BSc in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Minimum 3 years experience as a financial executive or similar role.
Excellent analytical abilities.
Excellent knowledge of financial matters and taxation (VAT, EMP201, Turnover Tax, Estate Duty etc)
Sound Knowledge of Sage, Pastel or QuickBooks software.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Onsite- Full-time :Cape Town CBD
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to R30000,00 per month
