Location: MU, Level 9, Tower A, 1 Exchange Square, Wall Street, Ebene, MauritiusPlease Note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 11 months as it is for Maternity coverMonitor, collate and deliver Trust product and legal entity financial reports to enable senior executives and product heads to manage performance against business objectives and support Directors in the discharge of their fiduciary responsibilities.To support the financial operations of the company and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. To assist the senior accountants in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsFirst DegreeProfessional accounting qualification such as ACCA/ACA/CIMA – EssentialExperience RequiredExperience in accounting support for Trust products including business partneringExperience in financial accounting, financial control or audit of trust company financial statementsWorking knowledge of SAP or Trust sub-ledgers would be desirableAdditional InformationInput of data in the ledger for all Trust legal entities to ensure accurate and complete data in the reporting systemPreparation of trust billing schedules in line with applicable accounting standards and group guidelinesSupport the process of preparation of annual financial statements for the Trust Mauritius legal entity in line with the applicable Company law, accounting standards and Group guidelinesPreparation and submission with support from external consultants of Trust Mauritius legal entity Corporate Tax and Value Added Tax returnsCompiling of legal entity capital/liquidity metrics for quarterly board/regulatory reporting and monthly monitoring against regulatory limits and internal appetite by the ALCOReconciliation of high risk accounts on the balance sheet as classified in the balance sheet risk management frameworkExplain movement on the balance sheet and attribute these to movement in positions and marketProactively develop relationships with key internal stakeholders such as Trust product heads and legal entity executives to ensure appropriate support is provided for the delivery of business objectives and discharge of fiduciary responsibilitiesBuild and develop relationships across the Group with various stakeholders to ensure universal Group principles are followed for internal reporting
