Job Summary: Join our team in Morningside, Sandton, and play a key role in managing our finances, HR, and facilities. As a hands-on generalist, you'll handle a wide range of tasks in a medium-sized company with 25 staff members.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Finance: Handle end-to-end financial processes, including VAT reconciliations, journal entries, and accounts payable.Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.Manage cash flow, tax forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure timely submission of all statutory returns.Oversee sales ledger and cost recovery schedules.Manage fixed assets and payroll reconciliations.HR (Full Function): Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff.Manage staff files, training, and development.Update HR policies and procedures.Handle monthly salaries, reports, and statutory submissions (EMP201, EMP501).Oversee health and safety, manage COIDA returns.Report on Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) & Annual Training Report (ATR).Coach, mentor, and discipline staff.Manage EEA2 and EEA4 returns, BEE certificate requirements.Organize staff welfare and entertainment events.Facilities Management: Ensure the company has suitable, well-maintained facilities.Skills and Qualifications: Broad experience in finance, HR, and facilities management.Honesty and integrity.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and team management abilities.Relevant qualifications in finance/accounting.Advanced Excell knowledgePackage (Salary and Benefits): Competitive salary based on experience up to R45 000 total cost to company.Comprehensive benefits package may include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off (details will form part of the Contract to Contract).Opportunities for professional growth and development.
