Accountant (Group Accountant)

A Construction Group of Companies with various services in Germiston is seeking a Group Accountant to join its team.
The successful incumbent will be reporting to the Manager: Accounting and Tax and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, preparing financial statements and handling intercompany loan accounts and transactions between the group of companies.
Requirements: Degree in Accounting or Finance Completed SAICA or SAIPA would be advantageous Minimum of 10 years of experience Experience in a company with a turnover of R300 million and more Experience in a group with more than 10 companies Experience in managing a team Sound knowledge of VAT requirements Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Work well in a team as well as independently Deadline driven Highly motivated Fluent in both Afrikaans and English ( non-negotiable ) What the company offers: Salary: R40K - 50K CTC a month Hybrid working environment: 3 days in office and 2 days working from home
