Job Description
Responsible for the overall management of the logistics department's financial function, as well as act as a business partner.
Requirements
BCom Accounting degree and completed articles.
Applicable experience in a fast-moving environment.
Experience in Logistics / Transport industry or similar position will be advantageous.
Strong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to work with Excel on an advanced level.
Appointment subject to relevant verifications.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Duties and Responsibilities
Initiate and monitor the implementation of strategic action plans.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Analyze and report on management accounts on a monthly basis to management.
Ensure annual budget is compiled and signed-off by the agreed deadline.
Ensure monthly reports are done and submitted on time.
Keep the asset register up to date and issue capex applications.
Ensure compliance with systems, processes and controls.
Manage debtors/creditors, cash flow, accounting processes and tax processes.
Prepare month end reports and calculations.
Perform ad hoc administration.
Continuously liaise with internal departments, clients and suppliers regarding relevant transactions and services.
Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Act as a business partner.
