We therefore urge only candidates with these requirements and experience to apply for this position.Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and attend to reconciling items.Ensure compliance with global and local statutory accounting policies.Ensure compliance with standard and local operating procedures.Preparation of financial reports.Preparing and posting monthly journals and closing off month-end reporting deadlines ensuring that all provisions/accruals/adjustments are completed.Preparation and assistance with Internal and External Audits.Completion and submission of statutory returns by the due date (VAT).Ensure transaction accuracy and documentational support.Process local and foreign payment runs.Undertake ad hoc scrutiny/analysis of financial data and/or prepare ad hoc financial reports.Assist Financial Manager in maintaining the implementation of internal controls and improving process efficiencies.Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records.Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial reports and ensure tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.Manage projects and policies to ensure that the P&L is accurate, costs are properly matched to revenue, and statements are delivered to appropriate individuals in a timely manner.Fixed Assets Accounting (GAAP, Statutory & Tax), Direct/Indirect Asset Capitalization, Value & Track of Fixed Assets, Perform Asset Disposals, Obligatory physical inventory counting & tagging.Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:Finance/Accounting Degree (minimum requirement).At least 5 years financial/accounting experience in manufacturing - non-negotiable.Excellent accounting software user skills in SAP and Microsoft Excel - non-negotiable.Team player, self-disciplined, analytic and result-oriented, attentive to deadlines.Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.Experience in OneStream - advantage.Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.Own transport.If you feel you are the right person for this position, please don't wait, apply now to join this world-class company!Function: FinanceLocation: Krugersdorp
