Accountant/Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant at Ozow, you fill an important and necessary role in the business. You will be a key member of our Finance Team, ensuring we run a world-class financial operation. We are looking for someone who is attentive to detail, thorough, and possesses a strong work ethic.Roles and responsibilitiesPerforming monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysesPreparing financial analyses and reportsBalance Sheets reconciliationReview of bank reconciliations & fixed assetsReview of costs allocationsJournal processingSupport month-end and year-end close processContributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and proceduresSupporting senior management with reporting requirementsAssisting with annual audit preparationsPerforming other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assignedRequirementsAt least 3+ years of experience as an Accountant or similar roleWork experience in the FinTech industryAt least a BA in Accounting or similar relevant fieldHands on experience with accounting softwareStrong attention to detailA sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's successCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsOur Employee Value PropositionJoin Ozow and become part of an elite force that challenges the ordinary and achieves the extraordinary.
