Accountant – Cape Town

Shift Pursuit has partnered with an esteemed hotel, and we are seeking an experienced Accountant in the Sea Point, Cape Town area.

Key Performance Areas: Responsible for full cashbook function Reconciling Current Cashbook to bank statements on daily basis Reconciling Cashbook to general ledger on monthly basis Investigate all unknown charges & deposits going through bank and report to the Financial Manager Ensure that all debit orders have invoices and check invoices for accuracy and amounts Reconcile daily banking cash & credit card to bank statement Ensure all AR deposits are captured and balanced to the bank statement in the current month Submission of income statement Submit reconciliations of all accruals & provisions & sundry debtors accounts Compile balance sheet reconciliations and balance sheet files Prepare invoices for sundry debtors for telephone and all other accounts Investigate unallocated deposits daily and ensure that operations departments get copies of unallocated deposits Investigate any unknown deposits with the bank Managing of charge backs on credit cards Requirements: BCom Degree or a comparable qualification Should you meet the requirements, please apply by emailing your updated CV to ******, or give us a call at 087 821 8309 and one of our consultants will be in touch with you.
