Accountant / BookkeeperWe are currently recruiting for either an Accountant or Bookkeeper for an Advertising Agency that will be based in Hyde Park, Johannesburg Central. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial health and integrity of a diverse business portfolio through diligent information processing and accurate financial management.Duties & ResponsibilitiesStreamline the handling of financial data across various small companies within the group.Guarantee precise and punctual upkeep of financial records.Supervise accounts payable and receivable, verifying the accuracy of all transactions.Create financial statements and reports for both internal and external purposes.Uphold strict confidentiality regarding financial, operational, and employee data.Utilise Sage Accounting and XERO software for day-to-day tasks.Conduct bank account reconciliations and address financial inconsistencies.Aid in budget formulation and financial forecasting.Ensure adherence to statutory laws and financial regulations.Minimum Requirements:Matric.Relevant tertiary degree in either Bookkeeping or Accounting.2+ years' experience in a similar role.Essential: Sage Accounting and Xero.Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.Essential: Own vehicle and Valid Drivers License.Closing Date:Submissions for this vacancy will close on the 11 April 2024, however, you will still have the opportunity to submit your CV for this position till 4 May 2024.Please Note:Thank you for submitting your CV to Marvel Placement Consultants.
