Job Details: Account Sales Executive - Sage Intacct As a Sales Account Executive, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth by selling our cutting-edge native cloud financial management solution, Sage Intacct. You'll collaborate closely with our channel partners and work hand-in-hand with our solution consulting team, who will bring their product expertise to the sales process, ensuring every client sees the full value of our offerings. This dynamic role is based in Johannesburg, where you'll lead sales efforts across the vibrant region, making a significant impact on our business and the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities Build and Energize the Sales Pipeline: Drive the growth of our Sage Intacct sales opportunities by developing a robust pipeline with our channel partners. You'll ensure the process is not only efficient but also keeps the channel energized and motivated every step of the way. Champion New Business Development: Focus on generating new business opportunities independently, playing a crucial role in expanding Sage's market share and positioning our brand as the leader in cloud financial management. Maximize Channel Partner Potential: Identify and seize major opportunities within our channel partners, coordinating activities with pre-sales and solution consultants to amplify the Sage Intacct brand and drive significant growth. Engage in Dynamic Solution Demonstrations: Deliver compelling on-site and virtual demonstrations of Sage Intacct in close collaboration with the channel and solution consulting team, showcasing the full potential of our solutions to prospective clients. Achieve Sales Success: Meet and exceed your sales quota by effectively managing and closing Sage Intacct sales opportunities. You'll leverage partner account strategies, precise forecasting, and resource allocation to achieve outstanding results. Lead Joint Business Planning: Take charge of joint business and marketing plans with partners, setting clear sales objectives and driving collaborative efforts to reach shared goals. Establish Industry Expertise: Work closely with the sales and solution consultant teams to develop a vertical/industry focus, positioning Sage Intacct as the go-to solution within targeted sectors. Forge Strategic Marketplace Alliances: Identify key marketplace partners to collaborate with, expanding our product offering and enhancing our competitive edge. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Sage Intacct, while staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor movements to ensure you're always leading with the best strategies and insights. Skills, Know-How and Experience: Background in Accounting Advanced sales experience selling ERP solutions Previous experience working with a business partner network Must have own license and own vehicle and must be willing to travel Preferred: Accounting qualification Self-starter who can work individually and as part of a team Strong customer focus and high-level customer service ethics and positive approach Be bold and able to simplify process and communicate it effectively to customers Instill trust with both colleagues, customers and other stakeholders Technical / Professional Qualifications: Accounting background
