Account Receivable Specialist

Description You as a General Accountant for Southern African Countries will be part of the Hitachi Energy business based in Modderfontein, South Africa. You will Process accounting transactions for Accounts Receivable (AR) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities You will process Accounts Receivable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.You will perform necessary activities within the Accounts Receivable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting.You will execute analysis and reports as assigned and takes appropriate action as necessary.You will comply with and helps achieve Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance in Accounts Payable for applicable templates. Participate in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.Communicate with all relevant stakeholders on the progress and/or disputes to maximize customer satisfaction.Processes Accounts Receivable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.Performs necessary activities within the Accounts Receivable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Living Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background A graduate degree in Accounting or Finance.Proficiency in both spoken & written English.SAP operation preferred, good skills in MS Excel.
