We are seeking a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager: Product/Business Developer with a strong background in sales and product development.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Southern and East Africa and will manage agents and their requests, taking a proactive approach to development-driven tasks beyond typical sales consulting.
Key Responsibilities: Drive sales and product development initiatives for travel products.
Manage relationships with agents, handling their requests and ensuring their needs are met.
Develop and enhance travel products, ensuring they meet market demands and client expectations.
Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement effective sales strategies.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the Southern and East African markets.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to agents and clients.
Monitor and report on sales performance and product development progress.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Skills: In-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa.
Strong sales and product development skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Safari industry.
Proven experience working with agents and managing their requests.
Experience in DMC Travel is preferred.
